Nature of the Service

• Care Connect is a digital platform that:
• Collects basic information from you (such as your name and mobile number); and
• Facilitates a connection between you and a doctor via video call for consultation regarding diabetes and anti-diabetic medicines.
• Care Connect is not a hospital, clinic, pharmacy, or medical practice. We do not provide medical services ourselves. Any medical advice, diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment are provided solely by the independent doctors who consult with you through our platform.
• Currently, there is no payment collected through the website for the consultation. If in the future any charges are introduced, you will be informed and may be asked to accept updated terms.

Not an Emergency Service

• Care Connect is not intended for emergencies or life-threatening situations.
• If you are experiencing an emergency (including but not limited to: severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, signs of stroke, severe low or high blood sugar, or any other serious symptoms), you must:
• Call your local emergency number immediately; or
• Visit the nearest hospital or emergency facility.
• Do not delay seeking emergency medical help based on information obtained through Care Connect.

Eligibility

• By using Care Connect, you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years old; or
• You are a parent or legal guardian using the Service on behalf of a minor in your care.
• You agree that all information you provide will be true, accurate, current, and complete.

Your Use of Care Connect

• You agree to:
• Provide your correct name and mobile number so we can connect you to a doctor;
• Be available to receive calls/messages from a doctor or our team for the purpose of the consultation;
• Use the Services only for lawful, legitimate health-related purposes.
• You agree not to:
• Use someone else’s identity or phone number;
• Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information;
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the functioning of the website or Services;
• Use the platform for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose.

Video Consultation & Medical Advice

• Consultations are provided by independent, licensed doctors. They are solely responsible for:
• Assessing your condition based on the information you share;
• Deciding whether a video consultation is sufficient or if in-person evaluation is needed;
• Providing advice, prescriptions, referrals, or follow-up recommendations according to their professional judgment.
• The quality and safety of medical advice depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. You understand that:
  • If you withhold information or give incorrect details, the advice you receive may be inappropriate or incomplete;
  • The doctor may advise you to seek in-person care, further tests, or specialist consultation.
• The information and advice provided via Care Connect:
  • Are intended to support, not replace, your existing relationship with your personal doctor or healthcare provider;
  • Should not be used as the only basis for making major medical decisions if your treating doctor advises otherwise.

No Guarantees

• While we aim to connect you to qualified doctors, Care Connect does not guarantee:
• That a doctor will always be available at a specific time;
• That a particular outcome, diagnosis, or treatment result will be achieved;
• That the consultation will meet all of your expectations.

You acknowledge that medicine advice is based on professional judgment and that results, diagnoses and treatment outcomes may differ from person to person.

Data, Privacy & Communications

• By using Care Connect, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information (such as name and mobile number) for the purpose of:
• Registering your request for consultation;
• Connecting you with a doctor via call or video;
• Contacting you for follow-up, reminders, or service-related communication.
• You agree that we may contact you via:
  • Phone call
  • SMS / text message
  • Messaging apps (e.g., WhatsApp)
  • Email (if provided)

for purposes related to your consultation or to improve our Services.

• We will take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, you understand that no system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet or communication networks.

Third-Party Services

• Care Connect may use third-party tools or services (for example, video call platforms, messaging tools, or telecom services) to enable consultations.
• We are not responsible for:

Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Care Connect, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services;
• Any decisions you make based on the advice or information obtained through the platform;
• Any issues related to your network, device, or connectivity during the video consultation.
• Care Connect is not responsible for the professional actions, omissions, or negligence of the independent doctors who consult with you. They are individually and professionally responsible for the care they provide.

Indemnity

• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Care Connect, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
• Your misuse of the platform or Services;
• Violation of these Terms;
• Any false or misleading information you provide.

Changes to the Service and Terms

• We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the website or Services at any time, with or without notice.
• We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top
• Your continued use of Care Connect after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Services.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
• In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
• If the dispute cannot be resolved within ten (10) days, it shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 (and any amendments or reenactments thereof). Each party shall appoint one arbitrator, and the two appointed arbitrators shall mutually appoint an umpire.
• The decision of the arbitrators shall be final and binding on the parties. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Karachi, Pakistan.

General Terms

• If a User violates these Terms and Conditions, their ability to utilize the Platform will be terminated. Care Connect may, in its sole discretion, terminate your access to the Platform, or any portion thereof, for any reason whatsoever without prior notice. These actions are in addition to any other right or remedy Care Connect may have available under the applicable laws. Care Connect shall not be liable to any User for any such termination or discontinuance.
• In using this Platform, you agree not to: 
• Send or otherwise transmit to or through this Platform any unlawful, infringing, harmful, harassing, defamatory, threatening, hateful or otherwise objectionable material of any kind; 
• Send or otherwise transmit any material that could cause harm or delay to this Platform or computers of any kind nor any unsolicited advertising, solicitation or promotional materials; 
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in any way;  
• Restrict or inhibit any person from using this Platform, disclose personal information obtained from this Platform or collect information about the users of this Platform; 
• Reverse engineer, disassemble or decompile any section or technology on this Platform, or attempt to do any of the foregoing;
• Gain unauthorized access to this Platform, to other users’ accounts, names, personally identifiable information or other information, or to other computers or websites connected or linked to this Platform; 
• Launch or use any automated system, including without limitation, “robots,” “spiders,” or “offline readers,” that access this Platform in a manner that sends more request messages to our servers in a given period of time than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional web browser; 
• Send or otherwise transmit to or through this Platform chain letters, unsolicited messages, so-called “spamming” or “phishing” messages, or messages marketing or advertising goods and services; 
• Post, transmit or otherwise make available any virus, worm, spyware or any other computer code, file or program that may or is intended to damage or hijack the operation of any hardware, software or telecommunications equipment; 
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations or these Terms and Conditions; 
• Alter or modify any part of the content or services offered on this Platform; or 
• Assist or permit any persons in engaging in any of the activities described above. 

• All materials on this Platform, including the design, layout, and organization (collectively referred to as “Content”), are owned and copyrighted by Care Connect, and are protected by all applicable intellectual property laws. The Content contains trademarks, service marks, and registered trademarks of Care Connect. All rights and title to the Content, trademarks and service marks herein remain with Care Connect. You are authorized to view the site and Content. You are not authorized to alter, obscure, or remove any copyright or trademark notice present in the Content. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved to Care Connect. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell, or exploit for commercial gain any portion of this Platform or the Content. You agree not to change or delete any copyright or proprietary notice from materials downloaded from this site or any site accessible through this site. You may not link to this site.
• Care Connect and its Third Party Provider reserves complete and sole discretion with respect to the operation of the Service. Care Connect may, among other things, withdraw, suspend or discontinue any functionality or feature of the Platform. Subject to applicable law, Care Connect reserves the right to maintain, delete or destroy all communications and materials posted or uploaded to the Service pursuant to its internal record retention and/or destruction policies.
• Reference to any product, recording, event, process, publication, service, or offering of any third party by name, trade name, trademark, service mark, company name or otherwise does not constitute or imply the endorsement or recommendation of such by Care Connect. Any views expressed by third parties on this Site are solely the views of such third party and Care Connect assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of any statement made by such third party. 
• These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Care Connect as it relates to the access to and use of this Platform. The subject matter of these Terms and Conditions supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, negotiations, representations and proposals, written or oral, that you may have with Care Connect.

• Care Connect reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, including personally identifiable information, or to edit, refuse to allow or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in Care Connect’s sole discretion.
• This Platform is not intended for the use by minors without a parent or legal guardian present. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a minor is defined as anyone under the age of eighteen (18). If you are a minor, please do not use or access this Platform at any time or in any manner. By using this Platform, you affirm that you are over the age of 18 and legally permitted to make personal healthcare decisions as a minor. Care Connect does not seek through this Platform to gather personal information from or about persons who are legally considered a minor without the consent of a parent or guardian.
• The Services are designed for and intended for users in Pakistan. Care Connect makes no representation that the information and services provided on or through the Platform are applicable to, appropriate for, or available to users in locations outside Pakistan. If you choose to access the site from a location outside Pakistan, you do so on your own initiative and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
• Care Connect provides this Platform “as is” and without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, Care Connect disclaims all warranties, express or implied, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Care Connect does not warrant that this Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected or that this Platform or the server that it makes available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

• As with any medical procedure, there are also potential risks for users seeking medical advice through the Platform. These risks may include, without limitation, the following: 
• Delays in medical evaluation and consultation or treatment may occur due to deficiencies or failures of the equipment; 
• Security protocols could fail, causing a breach of privacy of personal medical information; and 
• Lack of access to complete medical records may result in adverse drug interactions, or allergic reactions or other negative outcomes.
